If you are over 18 years old but under 25, you can apply for leave to remain on this basis.
You would need to prove that:
- You are between 18 and 24 years old
- You have lived in the UK continuously for more than half of your life
- You are 18 or over and you’ve lived in the UK less than 20 years, but you would find it hard to live in another country
- You are under 18 and you have lived in the UK continuously for at least 7 years and it would be unreasonable for you to leave the UK
